This black EPDM 70 O-ring seal uses for acids, bases and hot water. This product is suitable for static applications and slow, dynamic applications. It offers standardised quality and is mainly used in general industry.
This O-ring has an operating temperature range of -55°C to +130°C.
EPDM70 has a Shore A hardness of 70. This means that this O-ring is suitable for applications with a pressure of up to 80 bars.
Are you going to use this EPDM O-ring seal in a slow, dynamic application with a pressure of 50 bars or higher? If so, we advise you to use back-up rings.
This EPDM rubber offers good resistance to acids, bases and hot water. In addition, it is resistant to ozone and UV radiation. This material is not suitable for applications that involve exposure to greases and mineral and animal oils.
